REPORTING

EXPERIENCE

Challenge

Our reporting functionality in-platform consisted primarily of downloadable reports or dashboards that were too high level for analysis or client circulation. Our own in-house team was outsourcing data reconciliation and visualization through offline processes and external data vis tools (datorama namely).

We needed a solution to bring reporting in-platform as an accurate, easy-to-use, visually appealing feature - as well as reduce costs by using external vendors, roughly $2 million a year.

Process

Understand the process and tools used for reporting from internal teams throughout the lifecycle of an ad campaign, knowing our platform currently doesn’t support this process Identify capabilities needed for a homegrown solution within Basis Platform.

User Story Mapping

Product had big ideas and had to get to market. User story mapping allowed us to visualize big ideas into realistic milestones, step-by-step.
